The session;
In this session we all had to bring 5 objects in that had been printed on, we then had to arrange them into different sections to do with whatever word we are given, we did this as a group. After breaking them up into group, we then put them into further groups to make them more specific.

Looking at the use of colour is important in design, not only for the aesthetic of the design, but also it determines the target audience, also it is useful to know about colour in print because of the costs.
Initial Sections
Production;
|
Short Run |
Short run means that the print has a shelf life, and an audience size, there may be a lot produced, but it is not distributed in the masses. We were able to see the different between short run and mass produced, as some things are too high of a quality to produce on the masses.
|
Mass Produced |
Mass Production is items that have been printed to distribute to the masses, this was easy to determine as the stock could be cheap, or very widely known, there will be no shelf life on the products either.
|
Bespoke |
Bespoke is something that has been designed and is short lived.

During this session we looked into what the opposite of embossing was, as we didn't know what it was called, and found that its called ebossing, this is something I want to learn how to do, as well as embossing. I want to learn how to foil and find out the prices of how much it would cost to do, also I want to know about bespoke production.
